Some days do you just feel a bit older than you should? You want more energy to do the things you enjoy. Inside you still feel young, but it doesn’t quite show up in your actions and mood. Well there’s hope. Get ready to turn the dimmer switch up a few notches and brighten the day.

OK. You need to rethink your priorities. You take pride in your work doing your best. You keep your home and car in prime condition. You are proud of your belongings and accomplishments. Great, but you forgot something more important than all those things! It’s you! Still you throw junk in your tank and go too long between tune ups.
Most of us realized that fast food and processed foods aren’t good for us. They are dead food void of wholesome nutrition and life-giving nutrients. Even though you still eat them Well, of course you should keep yourself in shape. You are indeed more important than any material possession, yet you don’t always think about it this way.

It’s time to put you first. Take care of yourself and everything else will become easier. You will love yourself, your friends and family more and so will they love you. Start eating real food again. Fresh fruits, vegetables and nuts are anti-aging powerhouses. They will give you the energy and fuel you need to do what you want without the empty calories that just make you tired and put on the pounds. Blueberries are brain food. They are loaded with goodness and can increase your memory, prevent wrinkles and fight aging. They have anti-inflammatory properties that can relieve pain and arthritis symptoms. They can even help you grow new brain neurons! Other great brain foods are other berries like strawberries, nuts, fruits and vegetables. Green tea is great for fight aging, diabetes and being overweight.

Omega3 from supplements such as krill oil is a brain booster and it also will keep your heart healthy. Omega3 oils will help your brain and body to regain its youth again. Exercise is so important. If you find this hard to do then at least go for walks. Do things that you enjoy such as going to the park, gardening or hiking. Yoga is a great low-impact exercise with tremendous benefits.  Exercise has been proven to grow brain cells. Read that last sentence again. That is an amazing fact, and it’s within your reach. A healthy mental outlook is important to feeling and looking young. Be happy. Think positive. Stop and think a moment. What good is it doing you to feel down about this or that? Why hold a grudge against someone? What do you gain from it? Nothing at all. In fact it will only hurt you. Get out there and be sociable. Make new friends. Take up a hobby or whatever you need to do to become upbeat and enjoy life.

One great way to feel better emotionally is to help someone. Give that a try and see for yourself.
If you like animals then a pet is great for your health. They can make you happy and help you to enjoy life again the way the little kid inside you really wants to. Don’t hold back. Go out and have fun and be young.
